Job Description

Electrical Project Manager - M&E Ruislip, Middlesex (Field Based) c£30,000 Our client is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist electrical and mechanical infrastructure equipment for hospital operating theatres and critical care areas. Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager to join their busy projects department. For this position our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with either background in the electrical or M&E sector, or from a manufacturing environment involved in the production of bespoke electrical or mechanical products to play a key role. A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously is also essential. In this role you will be responsible for managing multiple projects across various high care areas within the healthcare sector. This is a customer facing position, working with both public and private sector clients, therefore excellent communication skills are essential, as is the flexibility to travel to client sites when required. As the Electrical Project Manager you will be required to manage installation, commissioning and hand-over processes, communicate with contacts at all levels, and attend on-site progress meetings. Your ability to manage up to 20 projects at a time will be essential. To be considered for this position it is essential that you have project management experience from within the electrical or M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) industry. This must include customer-facing experience. The following is also essential: * Experience of managing multiple projects * Good overall engineering knowledge * Proficiency using MS Office, particularly MS Project Applicants with project management experience gained within a manufacturing environment that involved the production of bespoke electrical or mechanical products are also invited to apply. As the Electrical Project Manager you should also have good interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to interpret contractual information. A background in M&E contracting would be beneficial to your application. Candidates must also live within a commutable distance of Ruislip or be willing to relocate.
