Configuration Specialist
Harrogate £16,000 + £6,000 Bonus
Our client is a specialist IT distributor. Due to their continued success and internal promotions are now seeking to recruit an Configuration Specialist to play a key role in supporting the Sales Team in providing Customer Quotations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Sales Support role ideally within the IT Industry

The Role:
Architecting customer solutions, utilising support from professional services if needed.
Generating quotations for customer accounts and Account Managers.
Validating all quotes to meet the customers requested requirement.
Ensuring all quotes are uploaded onto the In-house system with all relevant information added.
Assisting with customer technical queries and problems.
Liaising with Vendor technical help desks to fulfil customer configuration requirements.
Training customer personnel in the use of Vendor configuration tools
Attending vendor and in-house training courses to ensure skill levels are maintained.
Qualifying the opportunity for which the quote is required.
Qualifying when the opportunity is likely to close.
Checking quotes against customer purchase orders.
