We are currently seeking a degree educated candidate in their early stages of studying for ACCA, CIMA who is seeking an entry point into a progressive FMCG business with household name brands.

The role will involve:

Ensuring a 3 way match of Sales orders, invoices and proof of delivery/despatch notes, and to ensure all invoices / credit notes are produced and despatched on time and accurately, e.g. 100% timely and accurately posting of Sales related transactions into the books of accounts (Invoicing, settlement discounts calculations, etc). 100% compliance with month-end close processes (e.g. closing / opening of respective periods in line with month-end time table, ensuring that settlement discount calculations reverse appropriately, etc).

Managing all outstanding credit balances, on a daily basis, in order to achieve / maintain debtor days including factored and non-factored accounts, to manage daily ongoing relationship with factoring agency (HSBC)·

Reconciling Sales Ledger, on a monthly basis, control accounts, and individual accounts, investigating and resolving any differences and reporting back to Financial Controller.

Preparing the weekly Sales Flash (maintaining each report in date order on the IT system).

Preparing and presenting the numbers to the Sales Director / and at the Cashflow weekly meetings.

Preparing weekly sales flash variances and presenting / supporting the Sales Director
