Care Co-ordinator - Domiciliary Care Services
Windsor
£18,000

As one of the largest and most experienced providers of care at home; our client enjoys an enviable reputation for the highest of standards and value for money. They are now looking to recruit a Care Co-ordinator to join their team.

In this role you will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the workloads of care workers to ensure that the package of care requested by the local authority is delivered correctly.

This will require someone with a strong background in care work, a proactive approach and the ability to react quickly to changing situations. Equally as important will be an empathetic approach to effectively deal with complaints and concerns.

Working under the direction of the Branch Manager, as a Care Co-ordinator your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the Care team and monitoring, rostering and managing work
- Maintaining the provision of care services within the area, ensuring cover and on-call arrangements
- Recruiting, supervising, developing and mentoring Care Workers
- Logging information for Care Workers and producing wages information

In addition to the above, you will also be required to attend meetings and deal with enquiries from potential service users and Care Workers by explaining the services and promoting the company.

To be considered for this position you must have previous experience in a care work environment, preferably domiciliary care, and excellent knowledge of CQC standards.

As a Care Co-ordinator you should also be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage changing demands. A passionate approach to your work will also be required, as will good problem solving skills.

Previous experience as a Care Co-ordinator would be a distinct advantage to your application.
