Our client seeks a qualified Financial Controller to join their international team. Role:
  • Full management of the monthly reporting process. This involves: o For Statutory purposes, define accounting treatment in cooperation with Accounting, submission of closing entries on specific accounts with special attention to revenue and cost accruals, accounts receivable balances and risks provisioning.
  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, analysis of performance against budget and forecasts. Monthly reforecast exercise on specific items.
  • Liaison with all relevant internal partners (Channels, Business Units). Contribute to improve the quality of interlock with the relevant BUs.
  • Preparation of the quarterly Management Accounts (PL refresh), which includes validation of inputs, production of actual revenues and forecasts, calculation of actual costs and forecasts to termination; and comparison with reference business case.
  • Bi-annual preparation of budgets (limited to revenues and some cost lines)
  • Prompt response to ad-hoc requests with regard to any financial aspects of the contracts managed
  • Processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate stakeholders for setting up internal and external financial processes for execution of the contract (e.g. assets, staff and contracts transfers; invoicing flows, financing/leasing).
  • Involvement in problem solving for processes feeding the relevant accounts (typically AR and AP). This will involve liaising with (India and Poland) and supervision of order-to-cash process.
  • Monitor situation against finance-related contractual obligations, liaise with Legal. Skills required:
  • CIMA ACCA or ACA.
  • Minimum 2 years Financial ControllingExposure to multinational environment necessaryPrevious big four experience preferred.
  • Technical, SystemsExcellent use of Excel; Access as well would be a plusPreferred previous experience Oracle.
