Job Description
A new Embedded Software Engineer position in a small company working within a team of hardware and software engineers (most do a bit of both) on a range of world leading video transmission systems.
Suitable Embedded software engineers will have between 2-20 years Embedded development experience (they can accommodate a junior and a senior engineer), Real Time multi-threaded C, some Linux experience (home desktop user sufficient, development ideal) and experience working in a team developing digital hardware or a strong electronics grounding/degree. Ideally you will enjoy getting involved in the odd hardware project from time to time.
The company employ 12 engineers at the moment and are confident they will be expanding the design team again this year.
Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire just off the M40
Salary: £28-50k
Key Skills: Real Time Embedded C, multithreaded.
Desirable skills: Linux, Networking, TCP/IP, video (eg storage, compression, encryption or transmission), FPGA,
