In return for becoming one of our committed foster carers in Buckinghamshire, we offer an attractive reward package and a very good level of support and training. Our support and training is centred on helping carers and our support staff to understand the needs of the children in our care so that we effectively maintain our service which is aimed at providing safety, stability and hope.
Our reward package includes, among other things, 15 days paid respite, £269 per year contribution towards taking the child on holiday, a weeks residential break for all the children during the summer holidays and weekly allowances of £373 to £711 depending on the type of placement.

- You appreciate that fostering will have an impact on you, your own children and wider family
- You do not expect children to be grateful for the care you show and may take time to respond due to their past experiences
- You can accept a child who may reject or strongly disagree with your views and feelings
- You can understand that children may lie, steal or display sexualised behaviour
- You can accept and deal with anger from children
You have a good sense of humour and able to look at the bright side of life
- Your marriage, partnership or support network of friends and family can support you and withstand the difficulties of fostering
- You are able to recognise and celebrate small achievements in a child or young person
- You can accept that things in your house might be messed up, moved, broken or changed
- Being able to acknowledge your good work even if it appear small to you
If you have a spare room, a passion for children and young people, 1 partner wishing to work from home, you are in good health, with a generous sense of humour, you are the one we would love to hear from you!
